Placements24 was founded by international headhunter Leona Paterson after spending more than a decade helping people build their careers across Europe, Asia and North America. As the employment market changed, Leona realised many people needed more than help finding their next job. They needed confidence, practical guidance and someone they could trust to help them make important career decisions. That belief became the foundation of Placements24. Today, our international team of dedicated career coaches supports people around the world with career planning, resume reviews and rewrites, interview preparation, career change, relocation advice and long-term career development. Whether you're looking for your first job, returning to work after a career break, changing careers or preparing for your next promotion, we're here to help you take the next step with confidence.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
From Recruitment To Career Coaching
For more than ten years, Leona Paterson worked as an international headhunter, helping organisations recruit talented people across Europe, Asia and North America. But during the widespread technology layoffs and corporate restructuring of 2024, something changed. More and more people stopped asking about job opportunities. Instead, they asked for guidance. They wanted honest advice, reassurance and someone they could trust to help them navigate uncertain career decisions. Leona found herself doing far more than recruiting. She was mentoring people through some of the most important moments of their careers helping them rebuild confidence, explore new opportunities and plan their next steps. It became clear that many people didn't just need another job board or recruitment agency. They needed a dedicated career coach. In March 2025, Placements24 was born. Today, Placements24 brings together an international team of specialist career coaches who help people around the world build better careers through honest advice, practical guidance and personalised support.
